How emoji reactions work on Fika

Emoji reactions allow readers to communicate with writers in a simple and direct way.

Instead of leaving a comment, readers can react to a post with an emoji. It’s a quick way to show appreciation, support, or agreement.

How It Works

• Authors choose which emojis are available on their posts.

• Readers can react using the selected emojis.

• Reactions can be made from the public page or inside the app.

• Both users and non-users can react to posts.

How to choose your preferred reactions as a writer

To configure what reactions are available to your readers, go to the Publication settings page from your Publication dashboard. Add or remove emojis to choose which readers can use to react to your posts.

Where to see reactions to your posts

Reactions appear directly on your posts.

The Reactions panel on your dashboard makes it easy to track engagement.

You will also receive an email 24 hours after publishing a post with performance stats, including reactions.
