Who handles transactions, taxes, and payment disputes on Fika?

Because Fika uses Stripe Connect, you are the Merchant of Record for all transactions with your readers. This means:

• You are responsible for fulfilling the benefits you promise in your tiers

• You are responsible for handling disputes and chargebacks raised by your subscribers

• You are responsible for your own tax obligations (VAT, income tax, etc.)

• Fika is not a party to the transaction between you and your readers
